I AM LEGEND 2007

Will Smith stars as Robert Neville in this up to date version of the Robert Matheson novel. A disease spreads thoughout New York city turning the zombies into la di da folk. Neville however is somehow immune to the virus and remains in his zombiefied state. The la di da's taunt Robert, drinking at pimms o'clock and playing polo. Robert, not phased by the insane diseased la di da's manages to brutaly murder a few that were on their way to university challenge. Thinking he was getting the upper hand Neville accidently stumbles into FiDi the financial district on a Friday lunchtime and finds them all wined up and talking about the hunt next weekend. They all spot Neville and take pictures using their blackberries and run after him trying to swipe him with their filofaxes.

The film has a number of intriguing twists and keeps you on the edge of your seat. Enjoy the ride!

THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION

This film received 200 oscar nominations and was the suprise hit of 1992. Based on the book "4 seasons" written by Stephen King, Morgan Freeman stars as "red" a black negro imprisoned for murder. Red has been in prison a long time when new prisoner Andy Dufrane arrives to Shawshank Prison after being wrongly accused for the murder of his wife and the golf pro she was shanking. Andy Dufrane soons learns about shawshank life, the shank bit being the most dominant. Dufrane was shanked left right and centre by most of the shawshank gay population and was from time to time able to be beaten up as well as being well and truly shanked.
Dufrane gets on very well with the warden after providing financial advice to the guards and then refurbishes the prison library.
The old librarian hangs himself. Dufrane escapes through a sewage pipe and gets to live is lifetime ambition of being a boat polisher.
Red nearly hangs himself, has a quick shank and then decides to live the boat polishing dream with Andy Dufrane.
